Hello, excuse me for coming this way, but I passed in that manner. I am Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell. Did you know me? Well, now there is women's lib here and I was what you might call a forerunner. I was in a manner of speaking. I had to push and work very hard to be accepted as one of the first woman doctors.It was sometime ago you know, but I want to come in tonight because I heard you talking here and it has always been so that in any organization, group of people, there is bound to be what one might call dissension of a sort. Now I overheard the conversation about the instruments daughter and I have tried to find this young lady and I see here the need to relieve pressure from what I can see from my spiritual let's say vision. I do not think there is a malignancy; however, there is need to remove same as there is pressure. I do not see a passing. I do not see a continuous ailment,, but I do see something which needs care at the present time.
Question by Bernard, "Can they pick this up on x-rays?" I know from looking that this has not shown I believe they did find some activity there, but it is not visible on x-ray at the present time. However, I do think that it should be watched carefully. Now that is one of my reasons for coming. The other reason is to say that all of you here need a rebuilding of the chemicals within. The instruments chemicals have been let's say depleted and the young woman here is what we might say trying to put on a better front than she feels.
We feel a need to rebuild and to get rest when possible; also with you young man may I call you young man? I feel with you that you have got to charm your nerves. Because I see, let's say what I call ragged nerves at times and they must be charmed. Now a great deal of this can be done mentally by positive thinking. In my day of doctoring we did not have, let's say, the knowledge between the mind and the body itself, but today your doctors know that there is distinct correlation between the physical body and mental or spiritual element.
Of course, some of them are fighting it because the more people learn to control their health you see it does take away the fees from the physicians. However, a lot can be done this way. Now in the case of the daughter it could be done by spiritual healing, but you see we are well aware that the faith and the positiveness of the daughter is not enough at present and one cannot be healed unless both the healer and the patient are of one mind.
Now, I have been in spirit for a long time. We know here that you have been given a great deal on reincarnation as you call it here. And it is true. As it happens, I have stayed in the same place working here with those who do not understand but sooner or later I will I return, but I have a choice. I do not have to come back on your earth plane unless I choose. Isn't that nice?
Question by Bernard, "The instrument brought a message about seaweed. Do you want us to eat something like that?" I believe that the vision that was given to the instrument was symbolical a need for iron also for rest you see. This was a symbolical sign and not necessarily seaweed as such, but we do see, we see the young lady here as needing that.
Also see the one absent as needing it and it wouldn't hurt the others because you know there was a lot of comment in my day, and you see Lydia Pinkham started something, but it wasn't really as silly as you might think because it had the same effects as your geritol of today, but it is a fact that the more you take care of the physical the better able spirit is to do its work on earth.
It is like may I say for instance supposing that one would like to be a musician but has not the proper hands, there is not the strength and agility needed even though the mind races ahead knows how to play but you need the agility of the hands. And it is the same with all the other parts of your body. In order to do your best from the spirit as the spirit speaks you must be intuned bodily too.
So many times we see before you a speaker and we try to impress and we try to give forth through that speaker what is needed but you do not know how many times we see speakers working apparently for spirit who when they get upon the stage or rostrum whatever you wish to call it, they become very much an earthly person in the sense of trying to be someone. I am speaking of egotism.
Now, we cannot work with this type of person the way we wish because we give them thoughts and they are put forth in a manner to let's say glorify the ones speaking rather than as given. I am not going to name these people, but there are those who do. Now it is not the instrument because I would not be working now if it was.
However, there are some, you have some very dedicated and others who we are very skeptical about, but this is let's say growth and one must find his own niche in the sense of what he can do for others, and when it becomes a case of doing for yourself then we put on our walking shoes in spirit and leave. So anything that comes forth after that is purely of the brain or physical. You see it is not given. It is earthly.
You can judge and know these people if you listen carefully you will find that through it all the great I am show watch it. We heard the wish sent for another to enter here and we do not mind if you ask others. The secrecy of what comes is no longer apt here. We do not want it put forth as spiritual work. We prefer from here on instead of class that you call this just a debate, just a meeting to weigh things because we feel if it goes forth that we are coming through and you are calling it a class and talking on reincarnation you will have a problem, but there is nothing that says you can not debate on any subject. Leave the class to the church just have a party. It is important. Do not say class, it will be hard because that is what you have been calling it. Go from that to a discussion party. Let's call it that! I am going.
